About me
At present, I serve as a GIS Officer with UNICEF in Bangladesh. My prior experience includes a role as a Project Assistant at the United Nations Development Programme, Bangladesh. I’ve also contributed to Practical Action, Bangladesh as an M&E Officer. Additionally, I had the privilege of working with the Danish Refugee Council in Cox’s Bazar as an Information Management Officer under the Site Management Sector (SMS). During this tenure, I oversaw various tasks such as data collection in collaboration with volunteers and SMS staff, in-depth data analysis, monitoring and evaluation processes, document management, report drafting, and assessment creation.
With over five years of experience in the Development and Humanitarian sectors, I bring expertise in areas including Monitoring & Evaluation, GIS, Remote Sensing, and Database Management. My skills span spatial data analysis, RDBMS administration, and comprehensive analysis using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
Master of Science in GIS for Environment & Development(MSGED), Jahangirnagar University. Undergrad with a major in Environmental Science and minor in Environmental Management from Independent University, Bangladesh. I have done Project Management course which is certified by Project Management Institute (PMI) and National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). Also, I am currently enrolled for Master’s in Applied statistics and data science.
